The maternity week that I wish for every family is a maternity week with peace, expert care, warmth, extra attention, love & trust. All this to ensure that the newborn baby can naturally bond with all members of the family. That the brand new family can move forward confidently and independently.
Professional Maternity Care
I follow the necessary annual courses in the field of breastfeeding, first aid and other maternity care-related refresher courses. These courses are registered with KCKZ (Knowledge Centre Maternity Care). I am also a member of the “Coöperatie Kraamzorggroep”.
Everyone with Dutch health insurance is entitled to maternity care. The maternity week runs from the day of birth up to and including the 8th day after birth. A large part of maternity care is reimbursed by the health insurance. Depending on which insurance package you have, you may or may not pay a personal contribution for maternity care. With supplementary insurance, this personal contribution is often reimbursed. Contact your insurer for specific information.
